A warm welcome to Tanzania. Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our team will be there to receive you. You will be escorted on a domestic flight from Kilimanjaro to Lake Manyara.

As you soar above the Tanzanian landscape, you will be mesmerised by the stunning views of the Great Rift Valley and the vast plains below. Upon landing at Lake Manyara, your safari guide will be waiting to escort you to your luxurious tented camp.

Lake Manyara National Park is a treasure of Africa, boasting a vibrant array of wildlife such as elephants, lions, hippos, and flamingos. Your safari experience will commence with an exhilarating game drive through the park, offering you the opportunity to spot the famous tree-climbing lions that the park is renowned for.

Arrived at Tanzania

Embarking on your first game drive this morning, you'll explore the wonders of Lake Manyara National Park. This small park is renowned for its vast flocks of pink flamingos, which migrate to the lake in the thousands from November until April. While here, you'll have the opportunity to witness an array of large game, including elephants, leopards, lions, and wildebeest. With over 400 species of birds recorded in the park, it's a bird watcher's paradise.

As you traverse the park, you'll be captivated by the stunning views of the rift valley escarpment. Keep a lookout for the unique tree-climbing lions, which are a hallmark of Lake Manyara. These magnificent creatures are often seen resting atop the acacia trees, surveying their surroundings.

Located in Northern Tanzania, the Ngorongoro Crater is an extinct volcanic caldera that remains the most extensive and intact in the world. In its pre-eruption state, it's believed that the Ngorongoro Crater would have towered over Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak.

Serengeti National Park ranks among the world's most renowned national parks, covering approximately 14,750 square kilometers. Its diverse wildlife, including the "Big Five" - lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos, and rhinos, make it an ideal destination for nature lovers. Upon arrival at the lodge, you will meet your guide and embark on a scenic drive, followed by your first Serengeti game drive and lunch.

The game drive is a remarkable experience that offers a chance to witness the vastness of the Serengeti plains and the incredible diversity of wildlife that inhabits it. Your experienced guide will provide insights into the animals' behaviors, their habitat, and the delicate ecosystem that exists within.

Seeking The Big Five

Join on an adventure of a lifetime with our Balloon Safari experience. Start before the break of dawn, you will depart from your lodge or camp towards the launch-site in the tranquil silence of the pre-dawn. During your journey, you may even encounter one of the Serengeti&rsquo;s elusive inhabitants as you explore the wilderness on a nocturnal game drive. Once you arrive at the launch-site, you will meet your pilot and witness your balloon being inflated and prepared for takeoff.
&nbsp;
Following a comprehensive safety briefing and a demonstration of the boarding and landing position, you will board your balloon and ascend into the skies! Drifting towards the direction of the day's wind, you will gain a unique perspective of the vast Serengeti National Park, witnessing wildlife trails made by generations of animals that are impossible to see from the ground. After landing, we will celebrate your adventure with a traditional champagne toast, before enjoying breakfast. The entire experience will last approximately three hours.

Upon returning to your resort, you may opt for an afternoon game drive or choose to embark on a night game drive. The latter is an exhilarating and unparalleled experience for wildlife enthusiasts. As the sun sets, the animals of the savannah become more active, and the nocturnal predators emerge to hunt. The darkness adds an extra layer of mystery and excitement to this already thrilling experience.

Begin your day with a morning game drive through the Serengeti National Park, ensuring that you are equipped with your camera to capture the splendor of the park. Later in the afternoon, embark on another game drive to observe the diverse wildlife. Finish your day with a special farewell dinner, where you will enjoy an experience dining in the heart of the Serengeti National Park. Share stories around the bonfire while gazing at the stars, protected by vigilant Maasai warriors.
